After taking a 15 year break from collecting coins, I have returned to coin collecting to finish my Lincoln Cent collection again. I say again, because about 10 years ago I sold off a good portion of my key date coins to finance my baseball card collection. I had the rest of them packed away in a safe and recently relocated them and my 5 year old son thought the binder & boxes of Lincoln, Indian & Large cents were cool, so I have decided to finish my set again with his help. Hopefully not too much has changed in my 15 year absence, but by looking through the forum I have definitely decided my coin grading skills will need some practice!

Welcome to Coin Community!

Interestingly enough, I decided to finish out my 1973 Topps Baseball set about 12 years ago (I had a lot of cards from childhood but not a full set) and after that, got motivated to pick up coin collecting again. Something else I had done for awhile back in the 70's as a kid.

Welcome to CCF!!
I got away from coins due to cards about 1980. I sold all my cards in 92. Got back into coins (silver mostly) in 99. I too sold my key Lincolns in 08 for a house. It has only been the past few years that I have gotten more and more interested in Lincolns but those with woodgrain toning.
I am happy to hear of your renewed interest. The information age and digital photography have added a lot to the hobby.
