Need better pics rotated 90 degrees to grade it. Something about the color I don't like.

I'm leaning towards counterfeit, as surfaces look exactly like a Chinese fake. Would need better pics to make sure.

Lots of black stuff in the devices suggest cleaning with metal polish a long time ago, has since re patinated.
Such a theory would may help explain the pallid luster.
Check with a magnet and accurately for weight. Compare ring tone with a known genuine Morgan.

I have a feeling that it may well turn out to be genuine.

I didn't want to say China counterfeit with the bad pics, but I will say I have an 1888 CC the same color/tone/etc.

Weight? Size across? Magnet test? I picked up a rare earth magnet from Harbor Freight for a buck, cheap tool. I still think something funny is going on with it, but could be wrong. What's up with o in God? Still need to post obverse upright, not sideways.
