I'm thinking it looks better than the images. It is VERY well struck for a New Orleans Morgan. So...assuming it straight graded then MS63 easily. Shot at 64.

Obv 62, rev 63, net MS62, lots of nicks and abrasions but I don't see actual circulation wear.

the 81-O is known for average strike. this strike would be AVG+ so that's an advantage. if it was dipped, it was lightly done based on these photos. MS62 may grade straight

Yes it still looks dipped in the close-ups. When a coin looks dipped, it has necessarily been over-dipped and thus, improperly cleaned.

Not sure why anyone would consider it cleaned. The coin shows good luster on both sides and is better than thousands of straight-graded MS coins that are nearly lusterless from over-dipping.

If the obverse devices were wiped and it got hit for cleaning would be a different story.

I'm at MS62. This one's a VAM-53 that has an extremely rust pitted obverse and reverse dies giving it an unusual look in the images.
