Definitely not a Proof coin. If it was, it would have had a special frosty finish and would of had an S mintmark. You just have a normal Business Strike.
Yes but I've compared it to similar dimes from the same year and none match this one exactly. I've seen impaired proofs look like worn out business strikes. Thanks for the help though
On the image I posted above, the devices are a lot stronger on the proof coins. They are only used to strike 3,000 coins (6,000 strikes because they are double struck) On the business strike the design is a lot weaker and they can strike as many as 750K-1 million coins. Yours in a normal business strike dime from Philadelphia. (The mint mark were not added on Philadelphia dimes until 1980)
