Nice dollar becky. Congrats on finishing the 7070, that's a huge accomplishment that I hope I'll get to someday, if I ever stop focusing on morgans and go on to the type set.

WOW!!
In Dansco 7070, did you need to buy the Draped Bust Half Dimes, theyre worth a fortune at AG itself!

I'm currently working on a dansco 7070 type set, I am buying, if anyone has ANY of the coins that I have listed on the BST please post there. AND also looking for a Dansco Folder Pretty embarrasing that I don't have one yet.

TKC- there are a few people selling 7070's over on ebay, you can take a look and see if the price is right.

Bought about 50 cheap coins today, still going through but here are some that have caught my interest.

1 Franc 1922

These two I assume are Vichy France coinage, judging by the Time period, the axe which I think is the fasces (sp?) and has "Travail Familie Patrie" instead of the normal motto.
1 Franc 1943
2 Franc 1943

Also have a 8-sided 1921 french coin that I'm trying to identify, my guess is that it is a coin used only in Marseille and the surrounding province. Got plenty more of course, including pre-decimal New Zealand.

Hey All,
Although this may is not as stunning as some of the coins featured here, it's defiantly my "buy of the week"... Received these today... Found it strange to get two different mint sets for the same year, with different coins missing. And being current issue, everyone check yours, it would be nice to know if there are more. And by the way, they are most defiantly genuine, and have NOT been tampered with! Nice edition to my collection, goes well with the 1993 & 2000 mint sets also missing a coin.

amac44 - Sorry I was probably a little vague for most of you, in my original posting as to what you were actually looking at... I have two 2006 Aust error mint sets, and the "hole" you mention is because of the fact there is a coin completely missing from both sets, (as in never put there, completely left out in the first place) the left set is missing the 5c & the right set is missing the 1c. Gotta love the mints quality control! All Aussie mint sets (in recent times) are a completely sealed set making it impossible to tamper with them to deliberate make or creating this error.

Do you guy's and girls have this sort of error in other country's?

That's a really cool error, not sure if that can be done over here in the states. Of course, a really determined person could perfect his crack-out technique, take out the coin, and seal it shut again.

This week I made my first coin purchases in quite a while...some silver eagle proofs. Alas, I can't keep them, I need them to give as gifts. My most recent greysheet is about a year old, I guess I did about right paying around 25-30 dollars each for 9 common date specimens? To think that I once had so many of these but sold them to buy something, well, non-coin related... [:0]

I was asking if there is a coin missing in that set? In the piture it look like white in the left side or is that the way its made at your Mint, over there ? Like here theres D or P in some Mint set made in USA.
