It is with total sadness that I inform you that Bob Saylor passed away on December 14th. Bob had been fight cancer since September 2017. He spent many hours enjoying this forum.

Bob was a good friend. He helped me many times with identifying Henning's. He was a great guy and he'll be missed.

Just saw this, pyrbob came to our local Coin Show one year to meet me and showed me his collection of different date Henning Nickels. He was a really nice person and I have been missing him on the forum. Late condolences and in my thoughts.

Hard to believe this has been over 3 years .. he was so full of great Information and his collection was fantastic to see and read about. I've been going back over posts he wrote and found some where he was willing to buy henning for $50-$250+ depending on years and die patterns. In just 5 years time the 1944 went from selling for $50-$75 and now it's well over $125+. can hardly find them on ebay for less than $200..
