What Could Cause This On A 1964 Nickel?

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 02/27/2019 11:52 am There is damage on the rim, but I feel the rest is a lamination issue. Note the letters on MONTECELLO? Also on UNITEDyou can still see the ghost images, so there is not damage there. So the peel is now on the upper part of the coin. So the rim damage would reduce value, but it is still a very strong lamination. A keeper. Report this Post to the Staff
