Coinfrog Bedrock of the Community United States 94367 Posts	Posted 03/07/2019 8:08 pm There is an endless debate on possible chemical anomalies in the surface condition of some nickels issued by the mint during this period, but I don't think there is general agreement that "Black Beauties" are a collectible subgroup.
