If you like badly toned coins, go with it.

Probably just an Environmentally Toned Nickel. Also, both of the obverse and reverse die are in a Late Die State.

There is an endless debate on possible chemical anomalies in the surface condition of some nickels issued by the mint during this period, but I don't think there is general agreement that "Black Beauties" are a collectible subgroup. For five cents, save it.

Pretty sure 58 is the correct year for that coin.. Think ANACS recognizes that variety, but I'm a FNG so you might want to do some looking around.
