Hi y'all, My dad pulled an old cardboard box out of my grandmother's house when she died and in it was my grandfather's coin collection. He passed away in the 1970s, and nothing had been touched since then. I've spent the last 2 weeks obsessively going through it all and trying to google my way to coin knowledge.  My grandfather was in Asia in WWII and collected many coins from all over Asia at that time. Then in the 1950s he went to the Middle East with his job, and has a bunch of coins he picked up there. And of course a ton of American coins - from the 1800s to 1960s. So finally decided to join a coin forum and try to read/learn. From what I've already read as a guest, you all have a wealth of knowledge in here!  |

Thursday night (2nd Thursday), the Northeast Tarrant Coin Club (NETCC) meets at "The Mission" off Cheek-Sparger Road in Bedford.
We start officially at 7pm, but people usually arrive a little earlier. We're an active and growing coin club - and we don't bite!

Welcome aboard. I live in Round Rock, TX in the winter. I plan to go to the Collin County coin club next week McKinney, TX 75069 and then the big show that weekend in Grapevine.
