I've been interested in coins since I was a kid - stopped collecting for a long time when my nearly complete collection of Canadian pennies was stollen after a house break-in. I've been making occasional purchases and reading the occasional article ever since and have now decided to get back into coins seriously once again - which is 35 years later actually.
Anyway, lots of interests but I'm focusing on pre-confederation Canada: commercial tokens, Newfoundland, New Brunswick and the 1858-59 Province of Canada issue. Particularly interested in anything made out of silver and my most compulsive interest is the assorted 20 cent pieces. I'll b e posting questions from time to time as I'm a firm believer in getting as many opinions as possible before making a decision.
Hello everyone!
