The new Bahamas series are very attractive (need to acquire a few denominations). Always liked the $3 odd denomination.

Quote: Cook Isl. has a very colorful note & had to buy the 1987 $3 & $10 for their colorful & unique designs. When I bought the $3.00 note I hadn't even realized I got the 1992 Commemorative (& not the regular issue) but it's just as nice. Also, like the ship on the 1 pound South African note.

The viking ship on the Norwegian 100 kroner is the Gokstad ship, found in my hometown Sandefjord in the late 1800s. It is in the Viking ship museum in Oslo, with two other viking ships. If you are in Oslo, I recommend that you visit the museum.
