Found a 1919 1c penny. Is there any premium for these kind of coins. Its in antique category being it is 100 yrs old. Any thoughts?

No meaningful premium for this coin considering its poor condition.

Agree with Coinfrog - in better condition, there is a premium for old wheat cents, but in this worn condition and with some of the spotting issues, it's only worth a few cents. I'd still keep it, however, as I keep all wheat cents I find.

It's a cull coin with all of that damage. It's only worth a few cents.

To answer your question directly, yes there is certainly a premium for this coin above face value. As has been stated, it is worth a few cents, perhaps 10.

Forgive me for my ignorance, but I am new to collecting. Is there a safe way to clean the white stuff off that coin that won't harm the value if it was in better shape?

Soak it in Acetone for about 24 hrs. then rinse with clean Acetone
and let air dry. It won't harm the coin and removes most residue.

It has already been cleaned enough. Just a Wheat cent.
