Nice coin, but I think they are winged horses, not deer.

They do look like horses to me, but on Apr 16, someone on this thread said they were deer.

The emblem is an image of shanyrak (Kazakh: more often seen in the Russian transcription, shanyrak), the upper dome-like portion of a yurt, against a sky blue background which irradiates (in the form of sun rays) uyks (supports) set off by wings of mythical horses, inspired by Tulpar which represent bravery.[2] The circle shape of the Emblem is a symbol of a life and eternity. The shanyrak symbolizes well-being of family, peace and calmness.

I missed that one.
Didn't check it until I saw your post.
I don't think we are going to worry too
much about it though. It's all about
posting nice coins. :)

I think that was me. I did research it a bit at the time, and somewhere I read that they were deer, so that made sense to me, but I suppose being as they are 'mythical' horses, that explains the huge horn coming out of their heads. Sorry folks, I promise I'll do better next time.
