I understand most collectors love tone coins, but most don't like questionable color.

Is it when it is attractive or you are trying to sell it that it becomes toned?

Toning is OK, but I think artificial toning is one example of questionable colour-not good.

Natural and original toning here - good shot at 64BN.

I agree with Coinfrog. Looks 64bn.

Is this coin marked QC?

Questionable color is usually noted by TPG on "details only coins" where artificial color/toning is not specifically called out. Attractiveness or saleability should not be a factor in such a description.

Not exactly sure of what you are saying, but disagree on higher grade coins. Eye appeal is definitely a factor in the TPG grading of 64, 65 and higher examples.

This did grade 64.
I generally stay away from toned coins unless it is subtle. I have seen some that were natural that look fake, and Iv'e seen faked ones that looked natural.

I guess there is nothing better than experience.
