No, they are not Cuds. They are called Die Chips. They are very common. Cuds only involve the rim and some parts of the fields. Here's what an actual Cud looks like. http://cuds-on-coins.com/lincoln-ce...s-2000-2008/

A Cud involves a break away from the outside edge of the die:
2007-P-Roosevelt-Dime-Cuds-Obverse/Reverse?
Chips are more an internal break away off the interior of the die.
