@jaycuh, first welcome to CCF. Second, your pics are fine (well, if you are looking for advice, cropping that first pic would have been preferable). It looks to me like this coin has been damaged and the metal smeared around rather than there being a mint error.

Just by the obv. design, I'm guessing a '50s era coin.

To CCF! Your coin has been damaged after it left the U.S. Mint, so it's Post Strike Damage ( PSD).

I used the free image optimizer to crop your photo.

I used thye resize tool leaving the box the size it was. It could have been cropped tighter.
