1971 S Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC , Odv-028?

Jim0815 Pillar of the Community United States 5240 Posts	Posted 05/03/2019 12:36 pm I found this 1971 S LMC with some aspects look like the ODV-028. I am not seeing the bottom of the tie like on the ODV-027. The bottom of the tie looks like the ODV-028. If you look at the bottom of the tie on the ODV-028 it looks like a little triangle, my cent has the same triangle at the bottom of the tie like the ODV-028. The throat area looks the same especially the bottom of the throat where it meets the shirt collar as that line runs down at more of an angle. Jim0815 Pillar of the Community United States 5240 Posts	Posted 05/03/2019 2:19 pm There were two that year but the 1971 S ODV-028 paired with the RDV-002 is a pretty rare cent and if the ODV-028 is paired with the RDV-008 it's a very rare cent. I do know it's the RDV-002 but not really that sure how to spot the strengthened steps. Report this Post to the Staff
