If I remember rightly it is classed as a " bearded serpent with Radiate head " There are a heck of a lot of coins from Marcianopolis for Macrinus but this is one of my favourite Reverse designs. Who doesn't like a big old snake on a coin  |

Photography is an interesting blend of arts and science
I use a blend of natural and incandescent light with the camera light settings adjusted
But compromises are always made
