Hello all, Picked up this 1999 Mint Set to look for High Grade MS coins. Not the most beautiful, but seen this on the Oregon Reverse Letters. What are you thoughts on the "WISDOM JUSTICE MODERATION"? They look like they may of been re-engraved. Thank you for the help,
Edward M.

Those letters on that Georgia Quarter do appear to have been engraved deeper on the die.

Raised letters or incuse:
If they are incuse letters and they are enlarged, then it is Machine Doubling. If they are reduced, then it is a doubled die.

If they are raised letters, then they would be enlarged to be a doubled die and reduced if it is Machine Doubling.

Hello Coop, letters are incused on the reverse. The letters do have a reduced look to them, but I thought it was part of the re-engraving. Thank you for the help,
