I meant to say I would NOT get it graded unless is it as possibly a variety on demand .
I think that year may have some varieties (I.e. doubled die or repunched date. My focus is on a different series so I can't tell you for certain the 1889 Varieties would bring a premium even if the coin is a details grade.
There is plenty on the web that should help you figure out if you have one. Even if you don't, you will learn a lot doing the research.
