Quote: So, does loonie's guess count as a question? It's not a question, so no, it shouldn't. It's a guess on my part. I lost, so I'm out. But not down. .

Sorry , had to take my wife to the emergency room. All is well, but it took forever. Quote: Hey Joe, while I'm waiting for that recap, is the denomination $5? No, it is not!

I'm glad to hear everything is well.
So we're down to 1896-1902 $10 from the SF mint, with 3 questions left. 7 coins and 3 questions. The sharks are starting to frenzy.
Was the coin minted in the twentieth century? To clarify for JoeCoin, that's 1900 to 1999.

Yeah, I actually experienced the whole thing. Much like your coin, I was born in San Francisco in the late 1890's. It would be a great coincidence if the coin turns out to be from my birth year. *Fingers crossed* Is the date on the coin an odd number?

Oh yea, closing in now. It was a good fight Joe, fruitless, but a good fight.

Quote: Is the date on the coin an odd number? You know, I think that I can prove that zero is an even number and infinity is an odd number. Not that that has anything to do with this thread. The answer to your query is, no the date on the coin is NOT an odd number. What made you think it would be?

What made you think it would be? Just a hunch that it might take after its owner.

Quote: Oh boy...24 hour window starts now. Yes, and I'm going to wait until the full 24 hours is up to reveal the winner. Unless it's jadey, if he gets it right I'm going to lie and say it was a different coin.
