I've looked through the internet and found nothing that helps determine if this is valuable or junk. Any advice on grading and value would be appreciated. Report this Post to the Staff

Second, while this Indian Head cent is not in the best condition, I think that the value it has comes from it being a coin of this series (IHCs) rather than the mostly missing 1 in the date. With this amount of wear and tear, it certainly could have been a partly grease-filled die that caused the 1 to not be fully struck, but that digit could also have been mostly removed after this coin left the mint too. I agree that pics of both sides of the coin are needed to determine the grade.
