Hi all,

Is there any coin album I can purchase to store the Westward Journey Nickel Series in. If not, How do you store and display your coins ?
Just 2 x 2 !?

Thanks

Mine are in a Dansco album with the rest of my Jefferson nickel collection.

I think any album is going to have them with the rest of the Jefferson nickels, that is, I do not know of an album for just the Westward Journey Nickels.

Capital Plastics some holders to display them, but that is a bit different than an album.

I have never seen a Westward Series album but I have seen a Westward Series folder. I got it from a freebie mail-in card from the RedBook a few years ago. It is actually very nice for a folder and there is no exposed glue on the backing in the holes.
I cannot remember the manufacturer right now, but I will check when I get home and post the info.

I wonder how easy it is to actually make an attractive holder of some kind for a short set. I'm not much into arts & crafts whatsoever, though. Any ideas on that?

I think that you can print the addv. poster in the size you want, then glue it (to act as a background) to a thick piece of cardboard.

I think the problem will be How to punch the holes in a fine way?

The folder is made by H.E. Harris & Co. I had to look around to make sure it was not exclusively made for that RedBook promo. Here is a link to a photo http://www.whitmanbooks.com/Default...tID=90923012

21 holes total for all of the obv and rev design changes during 2004-2006 and then eight more holes for "Other American Nickels".

I have that folder! It is a nice one.

I also have a plastic holder that is clear and frosted on the edges that seals tight. I have one for each year so three in all. But I am not sure if it would be safe for proofs. I just collect the circulation nickels.
