RW1010, I probably know that it wasn't the answer you were looking for, but that's unfortunately your answer, sorry. As stated before, just a damaged coin. A spendable coin, as this happened after it left the U.S. Mint.

Not a problem. I picked it up off the ground. That's what we do, look at coins. I cleaned it up to see what was underneath and found what looks like doubling. You know how it goes, we want it to be what it's not. Thanks for looking
