Need Help With This Nickel - Coin Community Forum

Warhorse New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 07/15/2019 4:56 pm Hi I'm New to collecting coins something interesting I thought my 8 year old would like to do with me for fun. I just started a couple days ago so I really don't know anything yet and could use some help. While going through our change jar we found this nickle I believe it maybe a 2007 or 2017 I can't really make it out. It does appear to have a P under date. What causes this coin to look like this if you could tell me anything about it that would be a good lesson for my daughter to learn that would be great or if it has any value.
