How about some gold for the Roaring Twenties? 1926 Indian $2.50 Quarter Eagle PCGS MS 63 (TrueView) The second picture captures the luster that PCGS did not.

Decisions, decisions... Full head Standing Liberty quarter in MS65? 1932-D Washington quarter? Proof 1937 Buffalo nickel? Nah! Instead, I'm going with the wackiest coin in my collection -- the 1935 "Hudson" Commemorative Half Dollar: The reverse features a pretty standard image of Henry Hudson's sailing ship, the Half Moon, although it also includes an erroneous depiction of a crescent moon in the background (supposedly because the artist didn't know the difference between a half moon and a crescent moon). The obverse, however, features one of the strangest designs on U.S. currency (if not the strangest design). Based on the official seal of the City of Hudson used at the time, the design features Neptune riding a whale, seated backwards, with a mermaid blowing a conch shell in the background.

So many commemoratives to chose from in the 30's but this 1937 Battle of Antietam ranks as a favorite.
