$59 worth of halves from a local bank yielded 13 silver-clad, 1 1964-D 90% silver, and a magician coin (haven't seen one of those in years). The interior coin is a fantasy Mexican peso coin. The red coin is a 1969-D silver-clad. I think this is the first time I've seen a painted silver coin. Usually only the common clad junk gets the paint. The color came off easily with a brief soak in acetone.

I stopped at a local bank which has never before yielded any "keeper" coins. The teller asked if I had an account and I told her "no". She didn't bat an eye, just sold me the 2 half dollars she had and directed me to the other teller who had 14 more coins. The $8 total in halves included a circulated 1964-D, a nice BU 1966, and a 1991-S proof. The 1991-S is exceptional for a bank find: almost mark-free, with deep cameos and perfect sharp rims.

Nice work. I have seen coins like the red one, but didn't know that a little acetone could cure that. Hard to find any halves around here, but you are inspiring me to keep trying.
Stay well, Diy89Nurm7

Not a lot of action recently but I picked up $30 in customer-wrapped rolls at a Wells Fargo today which yielded 3 silver-clad Kennedys and one 1942 Walker. Always nice to find a Walker in the wild!

Jaobler, I'm extremely impressed with your finds, they are just fantastic and make me want to venture out a little. I think I'll start checking our bank for halves. It's amazing the silver you have pulled and even Walking Liberty, very cool!

Visited 6 banks today while driving in SoCal and picked up about $100 in halves. No silver until the last bank, where the lovely teller had $10 worth of loose coins in her tray. She picked them up and I saw they all had the telltale grimy gray edges of silver-clad coins. Sure enough, I scored 20 AU coins from 1965, 1966, and 1967. Not too bad! I also found this 2020-P coin, the first I've seen. I understand the 2017-D and 2018-D halves are being found in multi-roll quantities by other roll searchers. Anybody know whether the 2020-P coins are similarly common?

Very good finds, honestly surprised you're having so much luck as of late with "stacking" and roll hunting being so trendy nowadays.
