Quote: If it were me, I'd split the MM from the Type - it's always easier to concat() a couple columns than to split them. I actually did that last night, along with a couple other changes including splitting "Finish" out since there will be Proof, UNC, and RP by the time I'm done putting all the $1 Ikes together. Quote: Also, add the PCGS cert# - you can then add a =HYPERLINK() to jump out to PCGS. Another good idea! I'll work on that tonight.

Nice progress on the Ike set, CelticKnot. You've picked a very good time to start. The prices are much lower all across the board now. When I started my set, prices were peaked. Looking forward to seeing the pics.

Pics coming soon; I have enough slabs to make photos worthwhile now. So basebal21 made me think about putting feelers out for more than the "Dansco 32", and tonight I won an auction for a 1972 Type 2 PCGS MS 65. I don't know if I got a good deal on it but there's no turning back now.

Ugh, sorry guys. Total rookie mistake. I thought I was bidding on a 1972 T2 (because that's what I put in my search criteria) but turns out I actually bid on a 1976 T2. It was late...blurry eyes...[insert excuse]... At least I only paid a sawbuck for it.

I won't bore you with close-ups of my Ikes since we've seen that numerous times already. Instead, here's a group shot of the mahogany case and a bunch of my Ikes. This journey is just getting started. 10k

Quote: Also, add the PCGS cert# - you can then add a =HYPERLINK() to jump out to PCGS. I agree this is a good idea and I do it in my excel sheets as well. I actually have two links to PCGS for the coins - one for the cert # and one to coinfacts page for the coin. The only issue is that PCGS changed their coinfacts URLs a few months ago, which of course broke all of the hyperlinks. I update these links a few at a time now. The way PCGS changed the URLs it doesn't seem feasible to do any kind of global search and replace
