Taken from a computer screen so sorry for the poor image quality but I don't know what it is or where it is from. I can't even tell which is obverse or reverse.

Hmm, this piece isn't listed at tokencatalog.com. I wonder if the LIX is actually roman numerals? @mm, I understand that it is silver-colored, but how confident are you that it is made from a silver alloy? If it is base metal then that maybe opens up other possibilities.

It is definitely silver, and the lack of mm and full date is puzzling. Also the presence of the olive wreath and the 6 point stars does NOT narrow this down either... countries all over used these symbols!! Thanks!

My first thought was the Long Island eXpressway but that is usually called the L.I.E.
