Mercury Dime Rim Separation - Coin Community Forum

sel_69l Bedrock of the Community Australia 21788 Posts	Posted 09/08/2019 7:55 pm Struck very slightly off center. A very common minor error. In this case, would make no difference to the value. Very significant errors are much harder to value, and values are heavily dependent the extent of the error, and on whatever the current market demand happens to be. But I will post a couple anyway. The Marylin Monroe face birthmark could be considered a nice addition. jk. 1920 D. Actually looks good. Toning a bit loud. Seller says sharp strike. I decided to get it as I like the strike for what I can see, and tone I bet is lighter in reality, as they always seem to be in hand, so expecting a nice coin. Risk in everything.
