More fantastic ones, bd251! I liked your 1918 5 penniä so much that I looked into buying one. I think I'll just admire yours.

Haha. It's not a cheap one, with a mintage of only 35k, but I've seen them go for around $50-60 a few times on ebay. You'll usually see them in the $90-120 range for an ungraded AU/UNC example.

Note that there are two "types" of this coin. There's the official one (like mine) and a (supposedly) German counterfeit/restrike. The easiest way to tell them apart is the location of the knot at the bottom of the wreath. The official release has the knot centered between the 9 and 1 in the date. The unofficial one has the knot over the second 1 as well as an overall mushier details and a slightly different design of the trumpets' bells. The unofficial one is more expensive for some reason.

I know I have some more of my 10 penniä coins imaged, I just need to dig up the pictures. I'm wanting to post in order of denomination, so I'll probably wait until I get those uploaded before moving on to 25 penniä. I say by denomination, but really I'm posting up to early republic coins first, and then newer stuff later. I will need to image some of those for the 8th edition of How Far Back Can We Go.
