Quote: $80-100 for most ways 110-130ish for express if you want any of the special stuff for them. $16-40 depending if you go modern/regular standard/gold shield if you just submit it normally as part of another submission, you won't get any of the special stuff though
OGP comes back free from PCGS NGC should be another $3 Wait I thought it was only $52 for one coin? For NGC, $17 modern coin grading tier, $5 for SF label, $10 for First/Early Release, $10 to encapsulate CoA, $5 to include CoA #, $5 to return OGP. And $10 handling service. Is that per coin or per shipment?

The handling fee is per order. But for that NGC pricing you left out return shipping which will be 25 or so. The 5 to return ogp is an up charge to get that back as well but doesn't cover the actually shipping charge.

Quote: The handling fee is per order. Just to be absolutely certain, this is a flat rate no matter if it's 1 or 10 coins right? And the return shipping is $25 flat rate correct? So I can probably include a few other coins I've had in mind to get graded.

Handling fee is the same no matter how many coins.
The shipping has various tiers depending on the number of coins and total value.
I would check with them before adding other coins, sometimes they want these special things not to have other stuff mixed I.

OK, my first post although I've been watching for quite a while. I got one and I just received the e-mail telling me that my coin has shipped along with a FEDEX Smartpost tracking number. I plan to submit it for grading and have a few questions about the PCGS form. I understand all of the entries on the example from a few pages back. Is the COA a separate line entry under coin details or does checking the "other" box with the entry "Reverse Proof COA" suffice? Is the COA considered an "Oversize Holder" subject to the $20 charge? What should I put for Insurance Limit for the return shipping? Currently prices are all over the place. Also I understand the unopened box thing. The problem is I have another item in the box that was in my cart when I was going through all of the refresh, refresh, refresh stuff and it got included with the enhanced ASE order. So, I will be sending the ASE as well as another coin that I don't want graded. Will PCGS send that back to me along with the OGP without a problem? I do intend to include a note with the shipment explaining everything.

For the other coin you could call them tomorrow and ask. I'm sure you're not the only one that happened too.
For the value place it whatever you want. You could do the 1k or the 2500 if you want to insure it like it's a 70. You could even put 300 if you wanted to grade it in the modern tier but whatever you put is the max compensation you can get in a freak accident or the mail losing.
You don't need to pay the oversized fee for The coa. The extra 15 covers that slab. You could put it on a separate line but I am just going to write a note for it in the open space for the grade both special.

I know we are all going crazy for this issue (well not all of us), but read this as a cautionary tale I wasn't into coin collecting when this release happened but it's kind of surprising there was such an uproar over it. 100k seems a lot for a gold coin. And the mintage getting lowered to just under 75k should have been the sign to get out if your sole interest was to flip it.

About the grading there's some information here: https://www.PCGS.com/news/PCGS-anno...sulation-coaThere's a 1-800 number at the bottom for PCGS if it's still unclear what to do. I'll look for more information and update this post when I find it. Yeah. I don't find anything else. I think basic submission rules apply with the minor change of "other" being marked for the COA slabbing. "Oversized holder" if for like capped dies or multi strikes that are just odd shaped and don't fit in the normal holder.

Looks like my package spent the day travelling to Ohio instead of any closer to me. Delivery estimate got pushed back a day accordingly.
