@wyzeguy: sale numbers are from U.S. Mint spokesman Michael White and according to him website publication will resume in January next year. some coin sites publish the recent sale figures (3rd Nov. - 16th Dec.) already.

Quote: I guess the lesson learned is that if you wanted the coin in your hands you shouldn't have gotten if graded. Personally I don't understand grading a modern coin. But I'm not a flipper so what I think doesn't really matter. My father, may he rest in peace, had a saying he would say a lot: "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink" As I get older, I understand what my father meant.

I know it's out of Conservation, because I received an email copy of an invoice and confirmation that NGC charged my credit Card. Apparently charging my credit card NGC does without delay! :>)

If you had $2300 to spend, would you buy a PR70 of this coin? If I had $65, I definitely would (and did) buy this coin. But with $2300, I think I would buy a few other coins I've not been able to afford instead of this one. This is what I am thinking about as I consider selling it.

Like I said I have heard all the excuses and there still is No Justification for taking this long. My submission was right at the same time Piched up on 12/2, "received" AND "scheduled for grading" on the same day (12/6) ...BUT shipped out 12/12...and received by me on the 18th Your submission must have been hiding somewhere....

If I look with a 30x lens I can see two very minor flaws one on obverse, one on reverse. I don't know if those are what the graders at PCGS saw or if I'm missing something else. Getting it to show with a cell phone hasn't worked.

II understood that they were suppose to useeither an 8x or 10x magnifyet to grade the coinsb. A 30x is way too powerful imho

That'd be cool if they gave a brief explanation/description of the flaw if you don't get a perfect 70.

After getting my graded 69, I can definitely see the imperfection that caused it to not get a 70 with a naked eye (small, but obvious). I'm happy nonetheless to be lucky enough to have gotten 1. It makes me less likely want to flip it :)

I am glad to see there are almost 100 pages for this release. The new director really did stir up interest in Our hobby.!! I have a general question for those who have ever ordered and received any boxes from the U S Mint. Has anyone ever seen a box with the paper or bubble wrap, in this case the paper, placed inside the brown box to keep the contents from bouncing around, ever wrapped around the 19XE product box almost like it was gift wrapped ,or ANY other products received from the Fulfillment Center, found inside the brown box the fulfillment Center sends out.? I have a strong reason for asking.!!!

Both of mine came in a cardboard box with a small piece of styrofoam, the box the ERP was in moved around. All of my orders from the US mint all came the same way.

I forgot to mention the styrofoam option too, Thanks, I had been looking for input about paper packaging in the boxes. I too had many products from the Mint in these boxes with the bubble wrap also. I had NEVER seen or heard of the paper being "used this way ", and I love the U S Mint !!!.....
