Taiwan 50 Yuan (1999)
commemorating "The 50th Anniversary of Taiwan"

- looked this one up because it is clearly early polymer & features 2 banknotes above the high speed train. It was issued by the Chinese Administration of Taiwan. My SCWPM catalogue notes this one as P1990 which commemorates the "50th anniversary of Nationalist government of Taiwan" by the Chinese Administration.
The first (uppermost) 1 Yuan note looks to be R101 printed by the Off-shore island Currency "Bank of Taiwan" while the underlying note featured on the 50 Commemorative appears to be a 1987 P1989 100 Yuan printed by the Chinese Administration.

Thanks for posting that extra information walk2dwater.
The only Taiwan banknote I have in my collection.
It's quite a pale coloured polymer & also fairly long in length, (16cm).
The security window is a nice feature with a good image of the Taiwanese flag, I also liked the 2 trains on the note.

A recent purchase, quite a lovely banknote.
Iraq 1000 Dinars (2018) p104
Commemorating the Marshes & Heritage of Southern Iraq as a World Heritage Site.
On the front of the note is a traditional man fishing, native to the Marshes.

A commemorative linen note from Germany. It was issued for the 700 year anniversary or commemoration of the City of Bielefeld getting 'city' status above its previous 'town' status. (1221 - 1921). We know however, that this piece was issued in 1923!
