Really nice, super rare replacement! Great addition QC. Another serial # that ends with 499: is there a pattern emerging here?

Yeah, it would be interesting to find out their thought process or the procedure on why they did some replacements this way.

Newest edition to my 1974 $2 prefix set.

*BC above 1.9 million. Not a high grade note but rare none the less. I can't find it listed as a known example so it may be a new high serial number,

Enjoy!

Newest addition to my collection is a 1954 Devil's Face $1 asterisk replacement. It's a low grade note with issues (3 pin holes) but an overall nice circulated example.

Enjoy!

- That's an awesome example of a seldom seen/offered replacement. Great eye appeal for the grade too!
