Rainy day here in southern Alberta, so I thought I would do some posting on this thread. Here is my 1967 $1 replacement/3 digit radar note. Picked this up from a fellow collector friend of mine a number of years ago.

Thank you for reminding me about your hobby site. It's been awhile since I've been on it so I took another look at it this morning. Lots of good information on it that I plan on reviewing in the weeks to come and possibly some banknotes to purchase.

Two more replacement notes from my collection, this time $20 banknotes from 1954 and 1969 respectively. Both are well circulated.

Quote: Two more replacement notes from my collection, this time $20 banknotes from 1954 and 1969 respectively. The 1954 *V/E $20 had a mere 80,000 issued but more importantly it is unclear how many were actually caught so that note is keynote & missing in most advance collections. That VF25 is a very respectable grade too! It is the kind of note collectors put up for auction. The 1969 *EB $20 is a dark-horse in my books & doesn't get the respect it deserves. Another decent addition. Here's a couple of my personal favourites: The 1954 *U/T $10 (with 80,000 issued, much like your *V/E) The Beattie Towers *A/E $20 (with 16,000) considered the 2nd toughest replacement of the Modified Twenties: I posted these (& other replacements) on a thread that highlighted some of my collection: https://goccf.com/t/450797&whichpage=3#3904213Quote: Thank you for reminding me about your hobby site. It's been awhile since I've been on it so I took another look at it this morning. It's been a while since I have added any Bank of Canada notes to my collection! I must confess that I've been quite preoccupied with assembling my World sets these past 10 years. At the end of July, I thought I would showcase some of these sets I've been assembling on my Collector's Corner Spotlight page: https://sites.google.com/view/notap...cc-spotlight This page also spotlights some of my collecting strategies, opinions about the hype I hear on Social Media, another collector's bargain bin buys & a contest I hosted on the PMF. This Saturday (08/16/2025), I will add a type set of Bank of Canada notes to the Spotlight sets I am showcasing. Hope you check it out!
