Hello Need Some Advice On 1982 D Lincoln Cent Bronze And Small Date Or Zinc

YvonneNPete New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 09/15/2019 5:18 pm Hello thank you for this forum this is my first question I need to ask and I'm hoping I'm right I always Second-guess myself so there's lotta different things I still need to learn yet I found a penny in my drawer that's been in there for a while and I didn't realize it was 1982 D mint penny I threw in a long while ago. To me looks like it's bronze and it feels like it may be a copper because it's heavier than my normal zinc pennies I don't have a scale the only scale I have is a postal scale and it's not registering any kind of grams. Then you'll know if it's copper or copper plated zinc. I can't count on my senses to determine 2.5 grams from 3.1. It's just too close for me. Edit: Your coin looks like the large date.
