I agree with moxking that "MS61 is swimming at the bottom of the uncirculated pool", and that "MS60 barely escapes a details death sentence".
Therefore, the coin in subject has to be graded MS61. It has no wear, but it does have lots of dings.
The dark tone of the MS61 nickel draws to eye to it, as if it were a bad tooth.
For my own purposes, I never use Sheldon on anything, except American coins. PCGS Photograde sometimes helps. For the benefit of CCF members, I will use Sheldon for American coins, and occasionally for Canadian coins as well.
Best if we all learn to grade accurately for ourselves, and not exclusively rely on TPGrading.
Sheldon absolutely useless on ancient, medieval hammered, milled and Chinese Cash coins. It was never intended for those sorts of coins anyway. Many more factors that affect the value have to be taken into account.
