Moheb1979 New Member Australia 42 Posts	Posted 10/14/2019 5:11 pm The copy stand I'm using has a base that's 18% grey with a white grid, before I take the shot I use the EOS utility white balance picker and select either the white or the grey ... I'll post the raw file when I get in front of a computer (note it's a CR3 not 2 - alternatively I can post a JPG) Report this Post to the Staff

rmpsrpms Pillar of the Community United States 4038 Posts	Posted 10/15/2019 07:59 am You're using Live View in both cases? All the same settings, including the picture style and its subsettings? Did you try shooting a grey test shot for each to make sure they are both white balancing the same, ie do the white balance and then immediately shoot the background. Are you white balancing with the grey background in focus or out of focus? Exactly same lens settings, and no change in lighting?
