Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6426 Posts	Posted 10/08/2019 4:17 pm I hate the tricky ones.... I see no wear and there are very few marks. I don't however see much luster. That could be just the photo, or the coin may have been over-dipped or otherwise have altered surfaces. Assuming no problems this half dollar should make MS64 or even higher. Looks like a super coin! It looks like it was an MS sea salvaged coin to me that has been preserved. Without larger photos I'll hold off on the grade. Report this Post to the Staff

muddyknuckles Valued Member United States 272 Posts	Posted 10/08/2019 8:17 pm IGE nailed it for sure but so did Heymikep I was interested in what kind of grade it would be given by the masses tho and ideas on how a high grade coin like this say maybe a key date would fare as a pocket piece could the shipwreck effect be worn off without knocking down the grade beyond XF or so. This one isn't too bad and the coin's value comes from the fact it's a treasure coin. Otherwise this would be an AU-58 details, environmental damage. Report this Post to the Staff
