If you notice this list often has its posting time changed. That is because I edit the list for a while then repost later. This prevents me from increasing my post count every time each of you is taken off the list.

My gift arrived (at least I am assuming the package from an unknown person clear across the country from me is my Secret Santa Gift) but I will wait until Christmas morning to open it.

I realize how the surprise could be missed in the context of this discussion; But I was surprised last night. I received and unknowningly opened my secret santa package yesterday; It was in a plain envelope, and made no mention of coin community, so my assumption was that it was a quarter I recently purchased through a facebook auction. Apparently I was wrong - it was my Secret Santa package. I normally get some indication that it's my SS package, and wait till Christmas eve to open it - Whoops. Anyway, I received two "painted" D-day 'toonies', and a nice little selection of older British coinage; I especially liked the 1886 Queen Victoria farthing! Thank you very much to my SS from Quebec (I ripped through your name when opening the envelope) - one of the toonies is already in my 'lighthouse' book!

LOL @ NSS! The temptation is strong!
Been awhile since I was able to do much of anything coin related.

My secret Santa gift arrived. The Canada Post system really tried to make mincemeat out the envelope, but the contents arrived unharmed. I'll post photos later.

I got my gift from my Secret Santa. So awesome, and I am very happy! Thank you so much Santa! I would love to post a photo of the coin but I cannot. My server is junk. I have to change that soon.

Your patience in not opening is admirable, @Susuman.
