I can't tell you how many rolls I have searched through looking for the elusive "W" quarter. None found to date so what a super surprise that I received one from my Secret Santa. Truly a nice coin that I will add to my collection. Thank you Secret Santa!

@CitationSquirrel, that's a big WOW! I especially like three silver crowns! You make a good point about writing a thank-you letter. I shall do the same if I did not throw the package out (actually, shredding it). #128563; @Colhand1, what is a "W" quarter? This is my first time hearing it? Is that West Point mint Mark? Surprised they make them!! I do know they do some coins but not circulating coins.

Great timing Santa... I received my gift from Canada today! I also received a very nice letter describing the different items in the box. I'm not quite sure of the forum members name but a huge thanks goes out to them. Here is a quick shot of what I received.

merry christmas, happy holidays, to all.. as previously mentioned santa has hailed me from the russian federation this year, check this out: small, light, flat package, I had to first groove on the cool stamps, noting the postmarks, so I carefully dig into the pkg to find a really cool card and handful of bank notes i put an american ten dollar bill in a pic just for scale, doesn't imply anything beyond size relative to our currency, it was just the only currency I had on me at the time of the photo, their bank notes are roughly the same size as american frns i think I missed getting the reverse pic of that one, i'll update later when I find it, or snap a new one.. thanks, santa! looks like I have some studying to do (cos I have no idea what these are, lol!)

MrPink2018 This is demonetized rubles of hyperinflation era, easy to find using google - face value on it, year of issue too. Merry Christmas everyone!

@MrPink2018, you have wonderful banknotes from the last Soviet days and the beginning of Russian Federation's "first" series! 1000 old rubles are equal to a new or current ruble now. You have old rubles. I think 1995 notes are no longer exchangeable at the central bank now. Both were used at the same time for some time before they stopped allowing Soviet notes in circulation. I am glad to see that the mail piece from Russia arrived safe and sound! @flying_teapot, I liked what you did with the stamps! They are lovely to look at!! I am sure MrPink2018 do appreciate and love your presents! Happy day is here! Once again, Merry/Happy Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone here!! We ought to take our hats off to rggoodie and thank him for his jolly and hard work to ensure that we do have wonderful holiday spirit! THANK YOU, rggoodie!!

Please mark me as received. Santa sent me some pretty coins from around the world. I don't seem to be having any luck posting a picture so far as I am fumbling with other people's hardware and software. Whenever I put an image into my post, it overwhelms the screen (even after I cut down the size). I should have far better luck once I get home. Thank you Santa!

It's Christmas day so I finally got to open my Secret Santa gift. There was no ID on the sender other than it came from the east coast so thank you whoever you are for the nice assortment of US Silver coins
