I opened my Secret Santa package last night but was too tired to post about it. However this morning, my energies are renewed! In my package from Pennsylvania was the following: 1. Texas Rangers baseball brass slammer and various team caps 2. Bill of Rights .999 silver round 3. 1943-D BU Jefferson nickel (this will be an upgrade in my album! ) 4. 1897 British Empire Diamond Jubilee pendant 5. 2013 $1 F-star note 6. Celtic Christmas 3-disc set. Can't wait to give this one a listen! Thank you very much, Santa!

Thank you very much Secret Santa. I will have to look the Chinese coin up and learn about it! Also the Buffalos will make a nice addition to my collection. Merry Christmas! Glad I took one more look in the envelope, I almost missed the 2013 $2.00 Bill! Sorry it didn't make the pic.

If you notice this list often has its posting time changed. That is because I edit the list for a while then repost later. This prevents me from increasing my post count every time each of you is taken off the list.

I received mine today, haven't opened it yet. I'm at least waiting to get mine in the mail before I open what I received.

Got mine in the mail today - so exciting ... ! My Secret Santa did a great job and selected some very nice 5-cent pieces for my collection: 1868 Shield 1919-S Buffalo 2016-S in proof 2019-S in proof These are all great coins but on a personal note to my Secret Santa: The Shield nickel is one of my favorite coins. I remember seeing one at a coin show when I was a kid but it was out of my price range back then. So getting one today brought back those memories of an unfulfilled wish. Sure, I can afford them now, but getting one as a gift felt great. You fulfilled a lifelong dream ;)

Opened my very thoughtful gift from the great snowy north!
It is a Canadian Volunteer WW2 service medal minted in silver. Completely unexpected! Thank you!
My knowledge of militaria outside of the modern era is limited, so on to finding a nice way to display it!
Thank you!

Neat! I like how some of the bills have a different orientation. I wonder if that is more common than I realize?

Excellent additions to the collection, mostly dates I didn't have :) Santa was very kind, with more to come? I must have been a good boy! Edit: I just noticed I stupidly never said thank you. Sorry about that, Thank You Santa! Also, sorry I couldn't get the note to rotate right.
