1967 Penny Die Clash

The die clash is very obvious in bays 3 and 4. There is a straight line going north to the northeast of the Lincoln statue, and a squiggly line in bay 8. This is my first die clash. It's a shame it's in such a bad condition. :(

I didn't notice the bottom of the bust until after you asked about the front. What caused the bottom grooves and the east side of the shirt to be so weak?

Probably die polishing trying to get the clash marks out of the die.
