PaddyB Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 945 Posts	Posted 11/24/2019 2:33 pm I would suggest the "rainbow toning" is an artificial and later addition - easily done with chemicals and a battery - as the underlying coin shows considerable wear. Only Fine on a UK measure - probably higher on Sheldon, but nowhere near an MS grading. Report this Post to the Staff

Unfortunately, this coin has been cleaned with metal polish some time (years?) ago, and the patina was completely stripped off. Now re toning, to give the result you see now. Could you imagine walking down the street with a pocket full of pennies that size NOPE. Modern pennies ya could make three out of the copper used for that one lol.. Nice coin.
