sel_69l Bedrock of the Community Australia 21788 Posts	Posted 12/06/2019 04:46 am These coins quite often have a light striking on the castle on the shield, on the reverse. So don't let that fool you, when attempting to grade. Hair detail and breast detail (obv.), quite OK. I really can't see any wear, and there are very few tiny nicks and small scratches in the fields, both sides. Condition: MS63, evenly toned. Fairly common in MS60, I guess they didn't circulate much because they were .750 silver, and tended to be hoarded. They were replaced by the introduction of Republic base metal alloy coinage in 1958, so these silver coins only had a short circulation life, anyway. Report this Post to the Staff
