coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 12/11/2019 7:46 pm Depends if it is raised on the field, or if it is just a stain? Contact with the punch makes a dent into the die. Thus even the light punching will cause a mark into the die, showing as a raised area on a coin. Case in point 1955-S RPM-001 Note how thin these RPMs are. First one, too close.
