1983 Lincoln Cent Die Crack?

Correct. A die crack. It is a die event that shows the die has broken in that area. From the 4 corners of the Memorial you can often see these showing. Sometimes 1-3 corners are affected. But I'm sure the 4 corner die cracks are seen less often. I've seen where from the areas of the Memorial was affected, that wasn't the corners:

Just die events that they go through doing their job.
