To me, it looks more like someone stripped off the copper plating leaving behind the zinc core. Either way this coin would be a spender. Oijogja Pillar of the Community United States 715 Posts	Posted 12/23/2019 06:08 am My level of certainty always includes a little doubt, but it looks like there are some burst plating bubbles on the coin. This is part of why I'd figured just discolored and not stripped. Maybe faulty logic. But for sure a spender either way, I can definitely agree with that. =) Report this Post to the Staff

merclover Bedrock of the Community United States 10635 Posts	Posted 12/24/2019 03:06 am Environmental damage could be uneven. Either way, striped of it's copper plating or just very discoloured, bottom line is the same. Post mint damaged, spend it. Keep searching. Report this Post to the Staff
