So yesterday I visited my LCS and the owner threw me a box of half dollars and said whatever I want in there is sold at junk silver prices (spot + 5% tax).

Inside the box were quite a bit of older 50 cents including some Edward VII's and George V's. I picked out all of those and some George VI ones with luster. When I was paying for them the owner told me that you are getting a really good deal. That is when I decided to look at the coins and there were 1934 and 1936 50 cents in the lot. He kept his words and I paid junk silver prices for them.

So now I have nearly completed the entire George V's 50 cent collection through junk silver searching with one exception-the 1921 (obviously). I still feel immensely satisfied with my current collection.

Whole collection:

Congrats, a great find! Now before you go showing them off too much you may want to put the 1921 slick into a more family friendly 2x2

put the blank 1921 2x2 into a more family-friendly holder, and replace the image, and it stand a chance of sticking around here longer...

Otherwise, well done.

Did you get your 1932 from a junk box too? If so, that's a notable find.

I really like the old 50 cent coins (pre-1937). That's a nice set you have built up so far.
